Trying out a 150Wp #solar panel at my apartment. Max today was 100W. Have to figure out a way to mount it as a window. #solarenergy #solarpanel #green #electricity #sustainable #apartment #12V #battery #offgrid

June 5 (Renewables Now) – Omnes Capital has invested in Germany’s ILOSNew Energy and Spain’s Prosolia Energy through its Capenergie 4 fund, dedicated to renewable energy, the Paris-based private equity firm said on Thursday.

ILOS New Energy is a German solar power developer with a project pipeline consisting of over 500 MW developed in the Netherlands, Ireland, the UK, Spain and Italy. The company’s goal is to have a portfolio of solar power projects with a capacity in the range of 1.5 GW-2 GW across Europe.

Prosolia Energy is a solar project developer and has a pipeline of projects with a total capacity of over 1 GW in Europe.

“This partnership with Prosolia is fully in line with Capenergie 4’s strategy: allowing the commissioning and operating of several hundred MW of non-subsidised renewable energy projects within several countries,” Omnes director Benjamin Stremsdoerfer said.

The latest deals bring the fund’s total investments to three after a EUR-30-million (USD 34m) injection in Danish solar energy supplier Better Energy in December 2019.

In January, Omnes Capital announced the first closing of Capenergie 4 at EUR 380 million, with its target size being EUR 500 million. Final close of the fund at its target size is expected by the end of the year.
